FMPD APC

Out and about today checking on the locals, and came across this older APC for the Fort Myers Police Department in the yard. I had built a 1/43rd model of this unit when the colors were blue and white. I have decals (produced by Chris Sciolino), so I may need to re-convert it to the new color and graphics.
Origonal USSR APC and FMPD after conversion.

Hey Chuck, very nice looking Cadillac Gage V-150 (or V-100 minus turret?) Commando - do you have a photo that shows the markings on the side unobstructed? I love these things, too bad most were replaced by the Peacemaker when DoD unloaded them, and after that by the Lenco models. Here's one of my favorites from the Washington County MD Sheriff's Office. As mentioned in the post above, Solido made a pretty nice model of a police version of the Cadillac Gage armored car, though it would need some mods to represent most vehicles I've seen in US police service.
