Motormax sent us 4 samples of cars due in March or April. These are all 1/24th scale 2007 FCVs. Once we get the final pricing and delivery date we will have these available for presale online.

PLEASE NOTE - the Los Angeles Sheriff's car IS going to be made, HOWEVER it will be an internal issue only - Motormax does not have permission to release these cars to dealers. Yes, the geniuses at the LASO and their crack legal team still have no idea how to do proper PR, oh well.

The other three cars we will certainly carry when issued.

Not to be a smart azz, but the hole in the bottom front bumper, is that for a fog light?

The car also has what appears to be three 3rd brake lights on the rear deck. None the less a nice newer body style FCV from Motormax...

Hers a front and rear shot of the new USBP car. I guess the three 3rd brake lights I see are actually one 3rd brake light and two deck lights, maybe...? The ones I have seen before were all colored red, but this DHS car is red-red-blue (hard to see in the photo, sorry). Anyhow still a nice car I think...

"Holes" in the headlights are their mounting posts where the lens attaches to the car...

I like them, they are putting an effort forward to pick up some slack in the 1/24 market. I like the interiors on these cars too, they updated everything. I have a couple of the CHP earlier releases and a blank one. I like the full wheel covers and the newer style grille.

Those three lights in the rear are pretty common now, and an option that you can get direct from Ford.  Our last round of PD cars came with that exact light set up from the factory.  These cars look pretty nice, and it's really nice to see that Arjent light bar.  Quite a step forward by Motormax to modernize their fleet.

Jeff:

See if you can get the Arjent lightbars separately! That would be a great addition to the parts line for sure!!! I would consider buying in bulk if they were available for the right price.

Odd wheels though, aren't they meant to be a silver colour and not chrome?

The body side molding is also like the Marauder, it would be a easy conversion car.
While true is also looks more like the street package for the CV not the PI trim

No, who is showing this car? Might be a custom... the NYPD we will have is fully licensed, and I doubt Motormax would make another car that might not be... Jeff @ www.policecarmodels.com

I will check into it! That retailer is mostly a drop ship operation, they do not have much in stock. They have ordered from me from time to time and had me ship to their customers. I will post what I find out asap... Jeff

Not to down them, I just saw it one day while looking for some buses for a moblie operations center and I was wondering what was up because it looks like the black CV you have on your site but in the "NYPD" graphics (while not bad I might add) their not real like yours so I think it shows and gives one more reason to order from you!
