I would have emailed him, but I thought everybody else might be interested.

Could you do a decal sheet that would just have the black door molds for the crown vics? A lot of cars have them, but usually some sets don't come with them, and it would be easier than just painting them on. Her's what I'm talking about. Would anyone else be interested in this?

For bill, you could just copy and paste the black door molds from the LVMPD set because they would be perfect.

Hi Jack:

Yes indeed I could do something like that.  Like Tennessee HP and LVMPD, I always include them on the decal sheets for more accuracy, but if they already have existing decals and just need the door molds, it would be vry easy to do.

Thanks. I'll get some when I order some of the N. Carolina decals.

You could also use the correct size "stripe" decal from Microscale, they come in various widths usually in gloss or flat black. Cut to size and apply... just another idea.

I'd buy some from Bill if he made them, but Jeff is right.  Microscale has had "stripe" decal sheets available for years, and I've been using them for years for the exact reason that Jack is talking about, along with many other uses.  They come in a lot of helpful sizes.

Well, at least these would have the rounded edges (if Microscale didn't have them, I don't know) made especially for police cars.

Six of one... half a dozen of the other.   Point is, if Bill is willing to make these and they can save someone the hassle of trimming stripes then I say go for it.  One more thing to make the job easier and more accurate with the bonus that Bill is willing to help us out.  Thanks Bill!!!   Grin  Cool  Smiley
