Started life as the Joker Goon Car kit. I don't believe we ever had marked versions of these back in the day, so it left me with some freedom to add things like the push bumper and extra lighting.

Love the older PD cars. Can you do some more sharper photos for all of us? Gary

Gary, I would really love to, but unfortunately I am limited to a digital camera with auto focus. The image looks good on the screen prior to the picture being taken, but the final result, not so much. Any suggestions?

Jay...
Do you have something in your computer like "Microsoft Picture Manager"?? If you do, you can take your photos at a greater distance (thereby improving the clarity) and then Crop them so only the car is in the photo. If the photo is still too big, you can also reduce the size. In addition, you can also modify the photo by darkening or lightening it, adjusting the constrast, adjusting the color, and so on.
You will have to experiment with it and post the photos (and remove them if they are still too big) until you get it figured out. I had to do this myself. Ultimately I was able to correct the size problem by adjusting the resolution of my camera.
Hope this helps....
Mark

Mark, I've played around with this for most of the day, with not much improvement. My camera is an HP 435 photosmart with 3.1 mp and 5x zoom. It came with a photosmart printer. Its a good camera but lacks the ability to really fine tune and focus in. I tried taking shots from several distances back and the clarity problem persists. I guess I have what I have.

I'm sorry to hear that Jay. A couple of years ago I searched out a camera for the specific purpose of having a "macro-mode". I ended up getting an Olympus Stylus 300. It does a pretty good job with close-ups but the trade off was I found it difficult to use for general purposes. I couldn't take any "action" shots without the flash which wasn't good for anything beyond 20 feet so those action photos of my kids in football, soccer, and swimming were out of the question. There were other drawbacks but I just live with it. I'm thinking of picking up that Nikon Coolpix L20 (has 10.0 megapixals and sells for around $70.00) to fill that void. If I get one, I will experiment with taking photos of my models, general views, and crop them to see if the 10 megpix will allow for closeups that way. Anyone else out there have a camera that they found could take good closeups that is easy to use...?

I attended UMass in Amhurst, and UNH in Durham during the 70s. Only remember seeing Fords or Chevys, but that was a long time ago. Your car colors bring back memories. Model looks great. We had FUZZ Busters then, and if the SP saw a white light on your dash, you were screwed (radar illegal).
