Ok, I promise this is it for a while. These next three are "in progress". The 91 Chevy is the Revell snap kit that has more detail then some level 3's I've seen. I built this kit about 12 years ago as a CHP cruiser. I have decided to dis-assemble and re-store it as a copy of one in or antiques fleet, which are numbered according to their year. The only difference is that ours had the ugly flat silver hub caps, that got launched into orbit during high speeds, instead of the chrome ones, which are 92 and later. The hood is already cleared with dupont and color sanded/buffed. The body as well as the others are waiting for orange dayglow roofs #'s, which I am trying to resolve. The 93 Ford is a Code 3 piece, that I just re-numbered to replicate my sled from the turnpike days. The lightbar will be detailed and a push bumper added. It is missing the whole interior though. The 95 Chevy will aslo be re-numbered. For you MSP 95 Chevy builders, ours had numbering from 2200 to the low 2900's for aunthenticity purposes. I will be adding a push bumper, new light bar and parting out another revell police snap kit for the wheels and tires.

Very nice models you posted.  Cool

A little question do you always use automotive paints ( with hardener + varnish ) ?

Yes, I use automotive paints in two stages, first the color(s) then the clear. I believe it produces a better finish and is also more tolerant to the rigors of buffing and polishing. Standard model paints are fine, but tend to be a bit thick and sometimes distort fine details.
