Issued new to me, July 2007. Great car so far. I will be doing a 1/18th scale version this year with lighting.

That is a SWEET looking ride...LUCKY GUY!!!  Shocked  I can't wait to see your replica.  BTW where do you find the exact colors for your Mass State cars?  I can never find the correct shades off the shelf Huh  Thanks, Dom

Thanks, I appreciate that. The exact paint codes are actually a closely guarded secret. The codes and exact shades of french and electric blue are patented and protected. Its true. I got my shades by maknig friends with the body shop guys at our fleet section and then having exact matches custom mixed.  It got a tad tricky back in the late 90's because the chevy version of our colors, like the dark blue, was noticably greener then the ford, while still remaining dark blue.

2007 or possible 2008 due to the date the car was issued. Easy to tell its not a 2006 becuase the windsheild wipers arent the long regtaular boxes that were on the 06's

Its is a 2007 model. Produced in late 2006 and delivered to our fleet section in early 2007 (jan. or feb). For you perspective replica builders, 2007 was the first year that we started using the new style license plates with the blue numbering and the shoulder patch design next to the numbers.

Congratulations, an extremly fine ride. But I noticed that the spelling of the state is incorrect on the door shield. Shouldn't that be "TAXACHUSETTS" ? LOL

I have a question. Does the METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COMMISSION (MDC) Police still exist? They ran the orange and blue vehicles, then white and blue?  I remember them operating in Boston in the early to late 70s. They were a State Police, but not the MSP. Not sure if they were a Park Police. Thanks.
